Abstract

Catfish farming in Blukbuk Village is a promising business for breeders. The purpose of this study is to determine maintenance techniques, factors that affect quality and productivity, as well as evaluate the performance of catfish business in Blukbuk Village and factors that affect its success. The research methods used are surveys and direct interviews with breeders. The results showed that the catfish business in Blukbuk Village had a good performance, with an average production of 3-4 tons per year and a profit of around 54-72 million rupiah per year. Factors that affect the success of catfish farming are good management, quality feed, and good water quality. In addition, support from the government and adequate market access also play an important role in increasing the success of catfish farming in Blukbuk Village. In order to improve the performance of catfish business in Blukbuk Village, it is recommended to improve the quality of management, feed, and water as well as expand market networks and get support from the local government.
