Increasingly fierce competition causes companies to be required to be able to increase competitiveness in order to maintain the company's survival. In order for the company's goals to be achieved, quality human resources are needed. Human resources have thoughts, feelings, desires, status, and educational backgrounds whose mindset can be brought into the company environment. Performance problems are problems that are always faced by the company's management, therefore the management needs to know the factors that affect employee performance. The purpose of this study is to measure and analyze the influence of communication and work stress on employee performance at PT Pinus Merah Abadi Brebes branch. The object of this research is employee performance, while the subject of this research is employees of PT Pinus Merah Abadi Brebes Branch. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research with data collection techniques ranging from observation, interviews, questionnaire distribution, and documentation. The population of this study is all employees of PT Pinus Merah Abadi Brebes Branch of 42 respondents, with a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire on the Likert scale. Data processing method with SPSS software. The results of this study show that partially the communication variable has a positive and significant effect on employee kiner by 0.480; Partially, the variable of work stress had a negative and significant effect on employee performance by 0.409; and simultaneously the variables of communication and work stress affect employee performance by 0.521 which means that the influence of communication and work stress on the performance of employees of PT Pinus Merah Abadi Brebes Branch is dependent by 52.1% and the remaining 47.9% is influenced by other variables that are not studied.
