Analisis Kepadatan Lalu Lintas di Simpang Tak Bersinyal Desa Pebatan Kecamatan Wanasari, Kabupaten Brebes (Studi Kasus Simpang Batre ABC)

Abstract

Simpang is a place to turn or branch from a straight one. An intersection is a node in a transport network where two or more road sections meet. Here traffic flows conflict. To control this conflict, traffic rules are established to determine who has the right in advance to use the intersection. ABC battery intersection is another name for the intersection located in Pebatan Village, Wanasari District, Brebes Regency. This interchange coincides on the Pantura Brebes - Tegal highway. ABC battery interchange is an unsignaled intersection that often experiences traffic congestion which causes hampering activities on the intersection road. There are several factors that cause congestion at the ABC battery intersection. Among them are the existence of a railway line on the Ronggowarsito road, the presence of traffic control volunteers who are less orderly, and also the lack of awareness from the drivers themselves when crossing this intersection. In this study, the author conducted an analysis at the ABC Batre intersection in order to obtain data on the causes and solutions of the density at the intersection, in order to help facilitate the community in carrying out activities when passing through this ABC battery intersection.
