Abstract

Losari Regency Road, Prapag Lor is a district road that connects Losari District with Prapag Lor Village and several other villages in the northern coastal area. Along with the development of the industrial sector in Losari District, the road is used as the main access by the surrounding community. Moreover, the road is a connecting road between the district capital and several villages. This study aims to determine the dimensions, types and extent of damage to the road section. The research was conducted by means of a survey to obtain primary data, so that it can be used as a reference for handling road maintenance. The method used is the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method, on the Tanjung – Kersana road section on Stationary (STA) 8 + 500 to 8 + 750, the type of damage is obtained, namely a) 30% grain release, b) 0.75% crocodile skin cracks, c) 0.5% holes, d) 0.312% patches with a PCI value of 64 which is included in the Medium / Sufficient category. The handling carried out refers to the Practical Manual for Road Maintenance (1992) in the form of Pothole Patching (P5), Paving (P2), and filling cracks (P4). It can be concluded that the road must be repaired immediately so that the damage does not get worse.
