The Main Road in Kradenan Village, Brebes, is one of the important routes with high traffic activity dominated by mixed traffic. The existing condition shows that the pavement capacity of 2,344 skr/hour is insufficient to guarantee optimal performance in the long term due to increasing traffic volume. This study aims to analyze the need for pavement improvement using rigid pavement to meet the 20-year design life. The research method was carried out through an average daily traffic (ADT) survey, traffic growth rate analysis, and LHRT projection calculation based on cumulative growth factors. The results indicate that the highest growth occurred in the two-axle light truck category, with an average of 10.67% per year, while the 20-year LHRT projection reached 691 skr/hour for motorcycles and 306 skr/hour for non-motorized vehicles. The significant increase in traffic loads impacts the reduction of existing pavement performance, requiring rigid pavement improvement to ensure adequate road capacity. This study emphasizes that rigid pavement is an appropriate solution to enhance road bearing capacity and ensure sustainable transportation services in Kradenan Village, Brebes.
