The Parakan Kidang Irrigation Area is an irrigation system that receives water supply from the Parakan Kidang Weir, sourced from the Gintung River. In recent years, land use changes have occurred in the area, which may affect the quality and availability of water resources. Pollution from household, industrial, or agricultural waste has the potential to damage ecosystems and reduce the sustainability of water resources. This study aims to analyze the impact of land use changes on water resource availability in the Parakan Kidang Irrigation Area, focusing on identifying patterns of land use change, analyzing water quantity, and assessing mitigation efforts to maintain irrigation system sustainability. The research employed a quantitative approach using spatial and temporal data analysis through QGIS, SWAT, and Moran’s I correlation tests. The results indicate that the comparison of water availability in the Parakan Kidang area shows that a deficit of 800 L/s can be met. Land use changes significantly affect the quantity of water resources in the Parakan Kidang Irrigation Area, with calibrated daily simulation flows showing that 83.2% of water demand can be fulfilled.
