Abstract

The construction of Capar Stadium in Capar Village, Jatinegara District, Tegal Regency, faces structural engineering challenges due to its location in an area prone to volcanic and tectonic earthquakes. The stadium roof design requires analysis to ensure user safety and comfort as well as compliance with Indonesian Building Standards, namely SNI 1726:2019, SNI 1727:2020, and SNI 1729:2020. This study employs a combination of quantitative methods through data collection and processing, and qualitative methods through evaluation of detailed engineering design (DED) documents with a scientific analytical approach. The structural analysis focuses on the members subjected to the highest loads using the Load and Strength Factor Design (DFBT) method to assess tensile, compressive, shear, and flexural strength. The primary materials consist of ASTM A53 Grade B pipes of various sizes, ASTM A36 baseplates, and A307 anchors. The results indicate that all structural members, baseplates, and anchors are safe, making the roof design of Capar Stadium feasible as a basis for construction implementation.
