Today's student responsibility is still low for the elderly both at home and school. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of parental guidance on student achievement; the influence of interest in learning on student learning achievement, the influence of parental guidance and interest in learning on the learning achievement of grade V students of SD Negeri Dukuhsalam 02, Losari, Brebes. This study uses a quantitative approach using the type of explanatory research through associative research. The research data used is subject data in the form of opinions, attitudes, experiences or characteristics of a person or group of people who are the subject of research. Data were obtained using questionnaires in the form of written lists of questions, primary documents in the form of answers to questionnaire results from respondents, and literature studies. The results of this study are known to have a correlation coefficient value of R of 0.557 and a value of double determination coefficient R2 = 0.746 and an Adjusted R Square of 0.521. The coefficient of determination of 0.557 states the magnitude of the contribution of the independent variable of parental guidance (X1) and interest in learning (X2) of 55.70% in explaining the variability of the dependent variable of student learning achievement (Y) at SD Negeri Dukuhsalam 02, Losari, Brebes. The correlation coefficient of 0.557 states the strong simultaneous influence of the independent variable of parental guidance and interest in learning on the dependent variable of student achievement. Based on the regression equation 68.078 + 0.071X1 + 0.097X2, it can be interpreted that every increase in one unit of parental guidance (X1) and learning interest (X2) variables will increase student achievement variables by 0.071 units of parental guidance, plus 0.097 units of learning interest, at a constant of 68.078.
