Villages have potential natural resources that can be utilized. However, its management must be done properly in order to provide optimal results. The existence of BUMDes is very strategic which in the end Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) function as a driving force for the village economy and the welfare of rural communities. The hope with the existence of BUMDes, is the formation of new businesses rooted in existing resources and the optimization of economic activities of rural communities that have been. In the formation of Bumdes, there are still some shortcomings that need to be corrected in village development efforts related to Bumdes. A number of problems arise, including questions about the content of the Bumdes program, its implementation, and obstacles in managing village potential. The management that has been formed has not been able to work optimally to utilize the functions of BUMDes themselves, judging from the processing and development only centralized in the savings and loans sector, the desire to empower every member of BUMDes to improve their performance is still not visible which is the responsibility of the leadership. BUMDes are village business institutions managed by the community and village government in an effort to strengthen the village economy and are formed based on the needs and potential of the village. Human Resources play a very important role in running this institution. BUMDes Anugerah Lestari Rungkang, which was established in 2022, has problems in human resources that are not of high quality. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods to find problems and provide solutions to optimize the function of BUMDes, so it is necessary to increase quality human resources.
