Pengembangan Media Informasi Visual Berbasis Papan Informasi yang Edukatif dan Mudah Diakses

Abstract

The absence of information media that can represent the village identity and help visitors recognize available facilities is the main problem in developing Badak Village as a tourism destination. Students of the Community Service Program (KKN) from Universitas Muhadi Setiabudi Brebes carried out a 40-day program focused on providing educational visual information media. This activity aimed to support the village development process through the creation of a welcoming signboard displaying information about village facilities. The signboard was placed in the food security area, which is considered strategic and serves as one of the village’s main attractions. The implementation process included site surveys, design planning, board construction using appropriate materials, and installation. The results showed that the presence of the signboard provides a clearer identity for Badak Village and makes it easier for visitors to recognize available facilities, thereby contributing to the efforts of developing the village as a tourism destination.
