The high prevalence of stunting in Gunungjaya Village, Belik Subdistrict, Pemalang Regency, is regarded as a condition requiring community-based nutrition interventions to prevent disruptions in children’s physical growth and cognitive development. This community service program aims to improve public knowledge and skills in stunting prevention through the “Smart Nutrition Training” conducted at Posyandu Tulus Rahayu, Guci Hamlet, on July 21, 2025. The approach applied was participatory training involving posyandu cadres, mothers of toddlers, and community leaders, with a total of 50 participants. The stages of the activity included identifying nutritional problems, joint planning, training on preparing nutritious food based on local ingredients, and post-training evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ understanding of balanced menus, healthy food processing techniques, and appropriate feeding practices for toddlers. This program not only enhanced individual capacity but also strengthened the role of posyandu as a center for family nutrition education. Furthermore, the activity has the potential to be replicated in other regions with adaptation to the local context, thereby contributing to the achievement of the national stunting reduction target.
