This community service aims to investigate the effect of Business Identification Number (NIB) issuance as an instrument in increasing environmental awareness and business legality among Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) operating in Tegalreja Village. Through a combination of interviews, surveys, and document analysis, this study identifies its concrete impact on environmental awareness and increasing business legality among MSMEs. This community service activity is carried out with a door to door method, where researchers go directly to the residence of each MSME owner in Tegalreja Village. These measures involve not only the issuance of NIB, but also education on the importance of compliance with environmental regulations and applicable business laws. Thus, this community service not only measures the effectiveness of NIB as an instrument of legality, but also identifies supporting factors in increasing environmental awareness and legal compliance among MSMEs. The team strives to provide a deeper understanding of the effects of NIB issuance and community service efforts in strengthening environmental awareness and business legality at the local level, especially in Tegalreja Village. The results of this community service provide a deep understanding of the role of NIB in strengthening environmental awareness and business legality at the local level, as well as providing a foundation for better policy recommendations in supporting the growth of sustainable and environmentally sound MSMEs in Tegalreja Village.
