Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of character-based classroom management strategies to enhance student learning motivation at SD Negeri 1 Kalirahayu Losari Cirebon. Employing a qualitative approach with library research method, this study examines various literature sources related to classroom management, character education, and learning motivation. The results indicate that the implementation of character-based classroom management strategies has successfully increased student learning motivation through the integration of character values in daily learning practices. The program encompasses physical classroom arrangement, positive routine development, and implementation of learning strategies that support character formation. Improved learning motivation is evident from increased student active participation, learning independence, and learning outcomes achievement. Although showing success, the program still faces challenges such as resource limitations and variations in teacher understanding. This research recommends developing continuous training programs, strengthening monitoring systems, and increasing stakeholder involvement for future program optimization.
