This capacity-building program for village officials in addressing socio-religious issues is a strategic step in social development at the village level. Village officials have a central role in managing government and facilitating the dynamics of community life, including handling socio-religious problems. Unfortunately, village officials’ understanding of Islamic law is still limited, so problem-solving tends to be normative-administrative without addressing the root of the problem. This applied Islamic law education program aims to provide a basic understanding of the principles of Islamic law, especially in aspects of social life, as well as equip them with the skills to solve problems based on a just and solution-oriented approach to Islamic law. The methods used are training, case study discussions, and conflict resolution simulations. The program implementation includes several stages: preparation and planning, preparation of materials and modules, training implementation, mentoring and evaluation, and preparation of reports and publications. The training material covers Islamic inheritance law, family and divorce conflict resolution, waqf and grants, muamalah, and dispute resolution based on sharia principles. The results of this program indicate an increase in the knowledge and skills of village officials in resolving socio-religious issues based on Islamic legal principles. They demonstrated a better ability to understand the basic rules of Islamic inheritance law and an increased understanding of the importance of valid legal documents in inheritance and grant matters. The use of principles such as deliberation, justice, and public benefit is highly emphasized in dispute resolution. This program is expected to make a significant contribution to socio-religious development at the village level, as well as improve the quality of public services and community conflict resolution.
