Abstract

This community service activity discusses efforts to reduce accident receipts by using convex mirrors as an implementation of learning outcomes in universities in terms of traffic engineering. Based on data until 2022, several convex glasses have been installed and scattered on several street corners. Convex glass itself has a function that is vital enough for road users to increase vigilance. In addition to the safety of road users and can also help reduce the possibility of crime. This convex mirror is installed at the intersection of Tegalreja village hall, Banjarharjo District, because this place has a blind spot that can cause accidents. The methods used include literature studies and field surveys. With the convex mirror at the intersection of Tegalreja village hall, the view of motorists becomes wider, thus reducing the risk of accidents. This series of service activities can be concluded to consist of installation activities for convex glass signs that have been agreed upon by the community. Each activity is carried out with methods that are adapted to the scope of the field of activity, and various targets and evaluation processes.
